Eman Shahkamrani is a director, cinematographer, and post production specialist with over 20 years cutting stories that land. He doesn’t just edit — he builds the film. The pace, the rhythm, the color, the sound design, the moment where everything clicks — that’s where he lives. Trained at the New York Film Academy and Final Cut Pro certified since 2003, he has spent two decades staying ahead of every format change, every tool shift, and every new way a story can be told.

His instinct is his greatest tool. Knowing which frame to hold, which cut to make before the audience feels it, which color grade serves the story — that judgment only comes from years of being inside the work. He has built that instinct across live television in Latin America, weekly documentary series with the world’s top DJs, music videos in Los Angeles, commercials, feature films, and more. Every project gets the same thing: a creative eye that has seen enough to know what works, and the speed to deliver it without compromise.

He works across Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, and AI-enhanced post workflows — always choosing the right tool for the job, never the trendy one. His color work is intuitive and cinematic. His sound design is purposeful. And his ability to move from raw footage to a locked cut faster than most makes him the kind of post production partner every director wants in the room.

It started with skate videos and pranks — two brothers with a camera and something to say. Eman directed, shot, and edited from day one. That same end-to-end ownership is what he has brought to every project since.

Las Peñas hillside. Over 100 cast dancers. A song that had already played on VH1. Eman directed this production on location and operated camera throughout the shoot — then brought it into post, cut the edit, graded the color, and delivered a music video that matched the scale of the moment.

Shot in Kentucky, built around the artist's vision of performing on a bicycle through the landscape. Eman directed on set and handled all cinematography — capturing the modern hip hop feel the track needed in a real environment. He then took the footage through the full post production pipeline, cutting the edit and grading the color through to final delivery.

Eman directed and shot Cuando Era Pequeño in the hills of Mapasingue, Guayaquil — a neighborhood that has its own visual language. He put the camera in the right place to use that location, then completed the full post production — editing the cut, handling color, and delivering the final product.

VHS camera. Red Mercedes. Mariah Lewy on the Pacific Coast Highway. Eman directed the shoot and operated camera — building the visual from the ground up with the texture the VHS format gave it. He then completed post production, handling the edit and the color treatment to keep the lo-fi feel intentional all the way through.
